Projects
Saint George Parish continues to maintain and improve its church property through practical infrastructure projects while also considering longer-term plans for the future of the parish.
Sewer and Site Improvements
Water accumulation has created recurring problems on parts of the church property. Work has included bringing in gravel to stabilize wet areas of the grounds, while plans have also considered improvements to drainage and the connection to the city sewer system. The parish continues to address these practical site needs as resources become available.
Church Property Improvements
In addition to drainage and site work, the parish has identified other practical improvements to the existing property, including renovation of the bell tower and improvements to restroom facilities. These projects are intended to maintain the existing church property and improve it for parishioners and visitors.
Proposed Church Hall
Longer-term plans for the parish property include a proposed church hall that would provide additional space for parish gatherings, community activities, meals, meetings, and other parish functions. The architectural rendering illustrates one concept for how the proposed hall could be incorporated into the existing property.
Future Development of Saint George Church
The parish has also explored architectural concepts for the future development of Saint George Church and the surrounding property. The renderings are presented as concepts for the future development of the parish property rather than as a current construction schedule.
